Coming from a competitive sports background followed by years of intense cardio workouts and running marathons, Cheri reluctantly turned to yoga to nurse numerous aches, pains and injuries. After having a few “ah ha moments” she became hooked realizing her increase in strength, speed, patience and insight, far outreached the benefit of simply getting more flexible.
Cheri's classes are challenging yet accessible, while she offers guidance to integrate the breath with focus towards the precision (not perfection) of building each pose.
Cheri is 200 hr RYT certified from North Shore Yoga as well as 300 hour course with Uplifted. Additionally she is a personal trainer and certified health coach through Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Brain Health Licensed Trainer and continually seeks out workshops and experts to train under in the industry to expand her knowledge.
